A-Type Laying Hen Cage Farm in Tanzania
In 2024, a poultry farm in Tanzania took a significant step toward modernization by adopting an A-type laying hen cage system. The farm, designed to house 12,800 layers in a single building, was constructed with efficiency and productivity in mind. The poultry house, measuring 54×16×3.5m, provides a well-ventilated, space-optimized environment for egg production.
The farm benefits from improved flock management, better disease control, and higher egg production rates by choosing the A-type layer cage system. The cages ensure that the chickens have sufficient feeding and drinking space while minimizing waste. This structured setup allows for easy manure management, reducing ammonia levels and improving the overall hygiene of the poultry house.
